October Club Night - Macro Photography

October’s club night was all about macro photography, and what a great evening it was!

Bobby gave a fascinating and practical talk, covering the equipment needed for macro photography, how different types of lighting can impact a shot, and some very clever ideas for keeping your camera steady. There were plenty of helpful tips and tricks along the way to help us get the shot we’re aiming for.

Then it was time to get hands-on! Members had the opportunity to try out some of the equipment we’d been discussing and get a real flavour of what macro photography is all about.

It was a really enjoyable evening, with plenty of experimenting, learning and, hopefully, a few new ideas to take away and try.
