At the heart of every Camera Club is the “Novice" group comprising those members who are relatively new to the hobby and simply want to know what the camera settings do, to those members who have already started out on their photography journey and just need the support to continue.
Very few Camera Clubs cater specifically for this group, but here at RAW Photography that is certainly not the case. Recognising that the “Novice” members are key to the future success of our Club we recently launched a new initiative specifically designed for this group - a series of fortnightly Zoom workshops taking members right back to the basics of photography and adopting a step by step approach up the photography ladder.
The workshops, hosted by our very own Committee Member Michael Thomas, have a very clear message “Have fun and enjoy what you do”. Each session is supported by a practical exercise and the complete package offers members a sound foundation in the basics of Photography and encourages them to experiment with a wide range of photography styles and genres. Those attending not only learn about the settings on their cameras but quickly realise that photography is both a science and an art; and by controlling the science, you will develop the art.
So whatever stage you are at with your photography RAW Photographic is here to support you so please reach out to us and you will be made to feel very welcome in our photography family.
