We're back, baby!

Raw Photographic Camera Club got our new season off to a flying start on Tuesday night. The room was buzzing with chat and laughter from people catching up after our 2 month hiatus. Jim's biscuits were back and Reggie even brought cake!

    We welcomed 6 new members to the club and what a night it was to join! We had the very talented Paul Killeen visiting as our guest speaker, presenting his portfolio of landscape photography.

Paul's images and the stories behind them had the whole room enthralled. He has such an incredible body of work and it was lovely to be able see it first hand. His talent and eye for capturing beautiful landscapes is amazing.

Paul's talk was interspersed with little breaks so we could chat to him and view his work up close. It was a great opportunity to ask him questions and get a little bit of insight into his process.

All in all, it was a great night and definitely set the tone for a fantastic season ahead.

Next month, we will have the first winner of the Photo of the Month Challenge, with September's topic being 'Open'. The race to the shield begins again!
