Jennifer Willis - 'The Heart of the Matter'

At club this month, we were privileged to hear a truly inspiring, and diverse talk from Jennifer Willis "The Heart of The Matter"

Jennifer started her talk with a brief history of how she, got into photography as a result of her developing MS, and the life changing effect it had on her; from active and out going, to almost bed ridden.

Photography provided a route back to an active life all be it at a slower pace (other than when chasing a "crazy dog").

Jennifer initially specialised in photographing "Pets", "Rugby" and "Portraiture".

However, Jennifer's talk transitioned from a hobby, to a crusade for a Greater Awareness About Breast Cancer - "The Heart of The Matter".

Our photography shouldn't just capture memories, it should used as a tool to create change.

"Photography is made not to impress others. Photography is made to discover yourself".
