CLUB OUTING - BOTANIC GARDENS PORTRAIT SHOOT

As the photography club year draws to a close, RAW Photographic wrapped things up in style with a vibrant and well-attended outing to the Botanic Gardens in Belfast. Despite the ever-unpredictable Northern Irish weather, spirits were high—and the creativity even higher.

We were joined by three fantastic models: Justine, Rita, and Janette. Each brought not only a change of clothes but also an incredible energy and professionalism that really brought our shots to life. Rain may have made a few uninvited appearances, but it didn’t dampen our enthusiasm one bit.

Thanks to the shelter and unique backdrops of the Palm House and Tropical Ravine, we were able to keep snapping away. From graceful poses among exotic plants to more candid captures in between takes, the models helped us create a wide range of dynamic and engaging images.

The outing ended just as it should—with coffee, buns, and plenty of banter. Conversations flowed about the day’s shoot, techniques used, favourite shots, and plans for the next club year. The craic was, as always, top-notch.

Huge thanks to everyone who turned out and made the day a success, especially our brilliant models. We’re already looking forward to more adventures behind the lens in the months ahead.
